There are activity areas classified according to capacity and environmental impact in EIA reports.

These activity areas are listed in Annex-1 and Annex-2 documents of EIA Regulation. One of the important steps of EIA reports is the steps of determining the effect of the activity on climatic conditions and the effects it may create on the meteorological conditions of the region. Meteorology science has increased its importance in recent years and its relationship with environmental factors is followed in great detail. Like all scientific fields, meteorological data should be made by people who are trained in this field and can perform impact-result analysis. It is known that the approach of examining the relevant areas by unauthorized people in EIA processes creates problems within the scope of legal examinations.
